Need a massage but unable to come into the office? Why not try out one of our virtual self-massage and stretch sessions? There are many reasons that someone may choose to book a virtual session instead of a hands on, in-person experience. These reasons may include being quarantined or placed on bed rest, not having access to a qualified massage therapist in your area, not enjoying being touched by others, or not being able to or wanting to leave your own home. Regardless of the reason, virtual massage can still render many of the same benefits as an in-person massage.
During your session, you will be led through a series of massage techniques and stretches utilizing items that you already have around your home. If time permits, we will finish up with a guided relaxation to help alleviate mental and emotional stress or tension that you may be holding onto. When you book, you will be sent a link that will allow you to log in from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. A larger screen is recommended for this type of session. If you are using an iOS device, you will need to download the free app from the app store, as Safari will only support audio. The recommended browser is Chrome. All virtual sessions are performed with all parties fully clothed, so it is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. You will also need/want:

- A relatively firm surface on which you can lie, with enough space to move around. This should also be in view of the camera. If you will be on the floor, you may want a foam mat or comforter for extra cushion.
- A nearby wall that you can use for stability or to assist with certain stretches (optional)
- A tennis ball or something of similar size and give (optional)
- A foam roller, rolling pin, or canned food (optional)
- A yoga strap, belt, or scarf (optional)
- Hot or cold pack if you enjoy temperature therapy (optional)
- Your favorite lotion or oil. Please reach out if you would like suggestions (optional)
- Pillows, blankets, or towels for comfort and support (optional)

Virtual Massage for 2
At home with another person? Choose a virtual massage for 2 to be guided through techniques and stretches that you can use on one another. Possible partner combinations include significant others, parent/child, siblings, friends, etc. All virtual sessions are performed with all parties fully clothed, so make sure to wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in. Just like with self-massage, it is a good idea to have a space where you can lie comfortably, that is in view of the camera of your device. Things to have on hand include:
- A device with a screen that has had the camera and microphone permissions set to allow Zoom access
- A relatively firm surface on which you can lie, with enough space to move around. This should also be in view of the camera. If you will be on the floor, you may want a foam mat or comforter for extra cushion.
