Whenever I prepare to go on-call for my doula clients, I like to go through my birth bag to make sure that everything is there and see if there is anything that needs to be replenished. As I gear up for a couple of upcoming births, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to shoot a video of what I bring in my birth bag!
My "me bag"
I actually bring two bags to each birth. I call one of them my "Mama bag" and the other my "me bag". The "me bag" contains things that I might need for myself. Those things include:

Now, on to the exciting part; the bag I bring for mama. This bag is full of goodies to help her through every stage of her labor. Because every labor is different, sometimes I use several items, while at other labors I never even unzip the bag. Here is what I bring with me:
